Pensioner Housing

A limited number of housing units for pensioners are owned by Council, at Fairlie and Twizel.

The council maintains the buildings and grounds, reviews tenancy agreements, leases vacant premises and monitors long-term requirements and maintenance programmes.

Fairlie Pensioner Housing

There are seven pensioner units, located at Main Street, Fairlie.

The units were constructed in 2007-2008.  They consist of four two bedroom units, and three one bedroom units.

All units have full level access, a separate kitchen, wet floor bathroom with shower and toilet, storage space, laundry, and off-street parking.

Twizel Pensioner Housing

There are three pensioner units at Twizel.
Constructed in 1992, there is one two bedroom unit, and two one bedroom units.
