Emily Carpenter is a born and bred Twizel local, working in the hospitality sector.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant lack of visitors to the Mackenzie District, Emily wanted to move into an industry that could offer more security.
She approached Shaun from Pure Petfoods about working for him, and the rest is history.
Shaun worked with Leaine Rush, Mayors Taskforce For Jobs (MTFJ) co-ordinator, and applied for funding from MTFJ for Emily to assist with wages.
Shaun Aitcheson has built Pure Petfoods from the ground up into the thriving business it is today. Shaun has a hunting business which has also received funding from MTFJ for new employees.
Mackenzie District Council and MTFJ wish Emily the best with her new career.
