Mayor Anne Munro, Leaine Rush (Business Development Officer MDC) and Hannah Beer (Twizel MTFJ) recently visited Altitude Electrical’s Justin Swanepoel, and owner Kerry Wilson.
Justin originally came to Mayors Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ) unemployed and seeking licencing support. After discussing employment opportunities, we reached out to Attitude Electrical in Twizel, who have since taken Justin on through the Electrical Training Company (ETCO) to do an Electrical Apprenticeship.
MTFJ is supporting Justin into ETCO and with some driving lessons so that he can progress to his full driver’s licence. This is a amazing opportunity for a local business to support Justin into employment and to build a sustainable career.
