Council has agreed to halt the removal of the trees at Mclean’s Park - until we have worked through the options and found a way forward with all interested parties. We will ensure Council is in agreement before undertaking any further action in this regard.
Making the right decision is the most important outcome we seek to achieve.
Although nails may have been found in the trees, this matter is not Council’s primary focus.
We remain focussed on moving forward positively to seek the right outcome for all, for both Council and the community, taking cost effectiveness account.
