Night shooting, for pest control of wallabies will take place in the Tekapo Resource Recovery Park area, overnight on 3 and 4 November.

Wallaby populations have been migrating up the Tekapo River and have become a common sight around the Tekapo Resource Recovery Park area.
To help prevent this wallaby population from growing and spreading into the National Park, contractors will be conducting a thermal shoot of this area.
Work will take place after dark so please avoid this area between 11:00pm and 2:00am.
