The Mackenzie District Council have received a resource consent application from Queenstown Commercial Parapenters Limited to establish and operate a commercial tree-climb ropes course and picnic facilities alongside Lakeside Drive in the TakapÅ | Lake Tekapo township.
The site is zoned Recreation P (Passive) in the Operative Mackenzie District Plan 2004 (the District Plan).
Overall, the application has been assessed as a Non-Complying Activity in terms of the provisions of the District Plan.

Public notification allows any person (other than a trade competitor) to lodge a submission.
