Pest control night shooting - Tekapo area

Night shooting, for pest control of wallabies and rabbits will take place at Lake Alexandrina and Tekapo Forestry Block, over the period of 8 August to 19 August.

We have water shutdowns scheduled for Thursday and Friday nights this week in Fairlie as we transition central Fairlie to the new water main which has been installed.

District Plan - Stage 2 – Spatial Plan Implementation (Plan Change 21) and Lighting (Plan Change 22) - Preferred Approach

Mackenzie District Council has been working through a ‘preferred approach’ process for the urban zones which forms Stage 2 of the District Plan Review. Stage 2 gives effect to the Spatial Plans for the district and also addresses light controls. These topics will form Plan Changes 21 and 22 to the Mackenzie District Plan.

Pre Winter Snow Traffic Improvements – Lilybank Rd, Lake Tekapo

Council's roading contractors, Fulton Hogan, are making the most of the settled weather conditions on Lilybank Rd, alongside Lake Tekapo, undertaking onsite blending to condition the road ready for the winter ahead.
